Set up an AI voice agent
Create a voice agent from a template, give it a phone number, and test it from your browser.
Voice agents answer and place phone calls for you: qualifying leads, booking appointments or handling support questions. Open Voice Agents in the sidebar.
Create one
- Click Create voice agent. Pick a template and click Use this template, or choose Blank agent.
- Under Identity & behavior, set the Name, Primary role, Opening greeting and Conversation instructions.
- Under Call experience, pick a Voice (click Preview to hear it), the language and a Human transfer number for calls it should hand to you.
- Under Details to collect from the Contact, tick what it should ask for. With Add call summary as a note to the contact on, every call is summarized on the contact in your CRM.
- Click Save voice agent.
Give it a number
Open Phone Numbers and click Buy a number, or Import existing number to bring one you already have, and assign it to the agent.
Calls and texts are part of a paid plan, and they always go out from your workspace's own phone number. During the free trial, or before you've bought or imported a number, Scalry shows Calls and texts are part of a paid plan or Calls and texts go out from your own phone number instead of placing the call.
Test it
On the agent's page, use Talk to it in your browser and click Start browser call, or enter your phone number under Place a phone test call and click Call me. The agent needs an active number for both. Calls are listed under Call Logs.
