Warm up new mailboxes

Ramp new mailboxes up slowly so your cold email lands in the inbox.

Updated October 19, 2026

A brand-new mailbox that suddenly sends dozens of cold emails a day looks like spam. Warm-up builds its reputation first.

  1. Open Outreach > Email Accounts and click Start warm-up next to a mailbox, or go straight to the Warm-up page.
  2. Open Start warm-up for the mailbox and choose a Warm-up pace: Conservative (21 to 30 days, up to 25 a day), Standard (14 to 21 days, up to 50 a day), Aggressive (10 to 14 days, up to 50 a day) or Custom.
  3. Click Start warm-up.

The Mailbox Warm-up page shows each mailbox's progress, and a mailbox is marked graduated when it's done. Use Edit guardrails to change the pace later.

Keep an eye on health

On Email Accounts, each domain shows its reputation over the last 7 days (sent, bounced and complaints), and each mailbox shows how many it has sent today against its limit. Scalry pauses a mailbox or domain automatically when it runs into trouble. Use Pause and Resume to do it yourself.
