Copper CRM pricing, in short: three plans priced per seat — Basic $23, Professional $59 and Business $99 per seat per month billed annually, or $29, $69 and $134 billed monthly. Basic is capped at 2,500 contacts and Professional at 15,000; Business is unlimited. Workflow automation and bulk email start on Professional.

Copper is the CRM built around Google Workspace: it runs beside Gmail and Google Calendar and fills in contacts from your inbox. Most pages that rank for its pricing are reviews from other CRM vendors, and several still quote a $9 or $12 Starter plan that is not on Copper's page today. This guide uses the current page only, then works out what a year costs for one, three and ten people.
Key takeaways
- Plans (annual billing): Basic $23, Professional $59, Business $99 per seat per month.
- Monthly billing: $29, $69 and $134 per seat per month — the gap is largest on Business, at $35 a seat.
- Contact caps: 2,500 on Basic, 15,000 on Professional, unlimited on Business.
- Automation: Basic has task automation only; workflow automation, bulk email and reporting start on Professional.
- Email series (automated multi-step email), custom reports and multi-currency are Business-only.
- Three users on Professional: $2,124 a year billed annually, $2,484 billed monthly.
How much does Copper CRM cost per user?
Copper costs $23 to $99 per seat per month on annual billing and $29 to $134 billed monthly, across three plans. Every person who logs in needs a seat, and the page lists no free plan.
| Plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing | Contacts | Adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $23/seat/mo | $29/seat/mo | 2,500 | Pipelines, task automation, project management, contact enrichment |
| Professional | $59/seat/mo | $69/seat/mo | 15,000 | Workflow automation, bulk email, reporting, integrations |
| Business | $99/seat/mo | $134/seat/mo | Unlimited | Email series, custom reports, multi-currency, premium support |
Prices checked on copper.com/pricing on 25 October 2026, in US dollars, excluding taxes and fees. The page shows annual billing as up to 26% off the monthly rate. Copper changes its plans from time to time — confirm before you buy.
Each plan includes everything in the one below it. The page says you can start free with no credit card, and that personal onboarding and premium support are available to eligible Professional and Business accounts on annual billing. It does not list prices for those services or a trial length, so ask before you rely on them.
What do you get on Copper Basic?
Copper Basic gives you pipelines, task automation, project management and contact enrichment for up to 2,500 contacts, at $23 a seat billed annually. It is a working CRM for a small team that lives in Gmail and follows up by hand.
The two limits to check are the contact cap and the missing integrations line. 2,500 contacts sounds like a lot until you import every person your Gmail has ever written to, which is what a Google Workspace CRM encourages. And because the integrations entry first appears on Professional, a team that needs Copper to talk to its accounting or marketing tools should price Professional from the start.
Which Copper plan has workflow automation?
Professional, at $59 a seat billed annually, is the first Copper plan with workflow automation, along with bulk email and reporting. Basic automates tasks but not multi-step workflows.
Business adds email series — automated, multi-step email sequences — and custom reports. So a team that wants follow-up emails to send themselves on a schedule needs Business at $99 a seat, not Professional. That is the most common surprise on Copper's pricing page: bulk email (one message to many people) and email series (a timed sequence) sit on different plans.
| Capability | Basic | Professional | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pipelines and contact management | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Task automation | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Workflow automation | No | Yes | Yes |
| Bulk email | No | Yes | Yes |
| Email series (sequences) | No | No | Yes |
| Reporting | Basic only | Yes | Yes, plus custom reports |
| Integrations | Not listed | Yes | Yes |
| Multi-currency | No | No | Yes |
| Contact limit | 2,500 | 15,000 | Unlimited |
What does Copper cost for a year?
A year of Copper costs $276 per seat on Basic, $708 on Professional and $1,188 on Business with annual billing. The table multiplies that out for common team sizes.
| Plan | 1 seat | 3 seats | 10 seats | 3 seats, billed monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $276 | $828 | $2,760 | $1,044 |
| Professional | $708 | $2,124 | $7,080 | $2,484 |
| Business | $1,188 | $3,564 | $11,880 | $4,824 |
Monthly billing costs 26% more on Basic, 17% more on Professional and 35% more on Business. If you are confident enough in Copper to move your team onto Business, annual billing saves three users $1,260 a year.

Is Copper worth it compared with other CRMs?
Copper is worth it for teams that run everything through Google Workspace and want the CRM inside Gmail. On price alone it is mid-to-high: Professional at $59 a seat costs about half as much again as Pipedrive Growth ($39 per seat billed annually), which also has automation and bulk email.
| CRM | Plan with workflow automation | Price (annual billing) |
|---|---|---|
| Copper | Professional | $59/seat/mo |
| Pipedrive | Growth | $39/seat/mo |
| Capsule | Growth | $36/user/mo |
| Nutshell | Pro (sales automation) | $42/user/mo |
| Close | Growth | $99/user/mo |
What Copper charges for is the Google fit: contacts and emails captured from Gmail, a sidebar that shows the deal next to the conversation, and almost no data entry for people who already live in their inbox. If your team uses Outlook, that advantage disappears and the price is hard to justify. For the other side of each comparison, see Pipedrive pricing explained, Capsule CRM pricing, and Copper CRM alternatives if the price is the problem.
Professional to Business is $40 a seat on annual billing and $65 billed monthly. If the only thing pushing you up is automated email sequences, price a separate sequencing tool, or a platform that includes sequences, against that difference first.
What are the hidden costs of Copper?
Copper's hidden costs are the contact caps, the plan you need for sequences, and everything Copper does not do. Its pricing page lists no paid add-ons, so the extra spend shows up as upgrades or as other tools.
- Contact caps force upgrades. Passing 2,500 contacts moves every seat from $23 to $59, even if you need no new features.
- Sequences need Business. Email series are not on Professional.
- No calling or SMS. The page lists no built-in dialer or texting, so phone-heavy teams add a calling tool.
- No marketing email. Newsletters and campaigns need a separate email marketing tool.
- Google dependence. The product is designed around Google Workspace; mixed Outlook teams lose much of the benefit.
For a full picture of how per-seat, per-contact and flat pricing compare, see how much a CRM costs. Scalry, which publishes this guide, prices per workspace instead: $29, $79 or $199 a month with the CRM, cold email sequences, booking links and funnels included. It does not have Copper's Gmail sidebar.
Questions to ask before you commit
Whichever way you are leaning, these are the questions that change the answer. Work through them against your own numbers rather than anyone's feature matrix — including this one.
- How many contacts will you store in a year? That alone may decide Basic or Professional.
- Do you need automated email sequences? If yes, you are pricing Business.
- Is everyone on Google Workspace? Copper's value depends on it.
- Can you commit to a year? Annual billing saves $6 to $35 a seat a month.
- What else will you buy? Calling and email marketing tools sit outside Copper's price.
If you cannot answer the first three, you are not ready to choose between Scalry and Copper yet — you are still deciding what you need, which is a cheaper problem to solve first.
