monday CRM Pricing (2026): Plans, Seat Buckets and the 3-Seat Minimum
monday CRM pricing, in short: Basic costs $12, Standard $17 and Pro $28 per seat per month billed yearly ($18, $25 and $41 billed monthly), and Ultimate is custom. Seats are sold in buckets with a 3-seat minimum — 3, 5, 10, 15 and up — so a team of 4 pays for 5 seats. There is a 14-day trial and no free CRM plan.
More on this topic: CRM and sales tool pricing, every guide in one place.
The per-seat price is only half of a monday CRM quote. The other half is the bucket you land in, because monday does not sell single seats. This guide lists the plans and their limits, explains how seat buckets and guests are billed, and works out what teams of 3, 4, 6 and 11 actually pay.
Key takeaways
- Yearly billing: Basic $12, Standard $17, Pro $28 per seat per month; Ultimate is quoted by sales.
- Monthly billing: $18, $25 and $41 per seat.
- Seat buckets: the pricing page offers 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 100 and 200+ seats; 3 is the minimum.
- Odd team sizes overpay: 4 people buy 5 seats, 6 people buy 10.
- Automations: 250 a month on Standard, 25,000 on Pro; mass emails and email sequences need Pro.
- Trial: 14 days on the Pro plan, no credit card. No free plan for CRM.
How much does monday CRM cost per seat?
monday CRM costs $12 to $28 per seat per month on yearly billing, or $18 to $41 billed monthly, across three published plans. Ultimate, formerly called Enterprise, has custom pricing.
| Plan | Yearly billing | Monthly billing | Active contacts and deals | Automations / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $12/seat/mo | $18/seat/mo | 1,000 | Not listed |
| Standard | $17/seat/mo | $25/seat/mo | 10,000 | 250 |
| Pro | $28/seat/mo | $41/seat/mo | 100,000 | 25,000 |
| Ultimate | Custom | Custom | Unlimited | Enterprise-scale |
Prices checked on monday.com's own CRM pricing page and its support articles on plans and guest pricing on 26 October 2026, in US dollars, excluding tax. monday says the final price depends on your billing country and is shown on the purchase page — confirm it there before you pay.
One inconsistency is worth knowing. The yearly toggle on the pricing page says “save 33%”, which matches the gap between $12 and $18. The FAQ on the same page and monday's support article both say the yearly plan gives an 18% discount. Check the total on the checkout page, which is the figure you will be charged. Yearly plans are paid upfront in one instalment.
How do monday CRM seat buckets work?
monday CRM is priced per group of seats, not per seat: plans start at a minimum of 3 seats and then step up in fixed buckets. monday's support article gives the examples itself — a team of 4 should choose the 5-seat option, and a team of 6 needs the 10-seat plan.
- Buckets on the pricing page: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 100 and 200+ seats.
- Minimum: 3 seats, even for one person.
- You cannot buy below your active users. At checkout, smaller buckets are greyed out until you deactivate users.
- Large teams: the FAQ says teams of more than 40 can request a quote from sales.
- Bundles: if you also buy another monday product, each can have its own plan and seat count, but all must share the same billing cycle.
A founder working alone still pays for 3 seats: $432 a year on Basic or $612 on Standard, billed yearly. That is the equivalent of $36 or $51 a month for one person.
How are guests billed on monday CRM?
Guests are not available on Basic, cost one seat per 4 guests on Standard, and are unlimited on Pro and Enterprise, according to monday's guest pricing article. On Standard the first 3 guests are effectively free; the 4th turns that group into one billed seat.
Guest groups count toward your bucket. If adding guests takes you past your seat limit, monday automatically upgrades you to the next seat tier and sends two email notices first. A Standard team of 5 members that invites 4 guests already needs 6 seats, which means the 10-seat bucket.
What does each monday CRM plan include?
Each monday CRM plan raises the limits on contacts, dashboards and automations: Basic is a contact and deal tracker, Standard adds automations and AI agents, and Pro adds mass emails and email sequences.
| Feature | Basic | Standard | Pro | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Workspaces | 1 | 3 | 15 | Unlimited |
| Custom dashboards | 1 | 5 | 50 | Unlimited |
| Columns per board | 5 | 15 | 75 | Unlimited |
| Quotes and invoices / month | 20 | 50 | 250 | Unlimited |
| Custom automations / month | — | 250 | 25,000 | Enterprise-scale |
| Mass emails and email sequences | — | — | Yes | Yes |
| AI agents and AI notetaker | — | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| AI workflow builder | — | — | Yes | Yes |
| Advanced permissions, HIPAA | — | — | — | Yes |
The pricing page lists Pro at 100,000 active contacts and deals, while an older monday support article describes Pro as unlimited. Assume 100,000 and ask sales if you need more.

What does monday CRM cost for a small team in year one?
Three users pay $612 a year for monday CRM Standard billed yearly, or $1,008 for Pro. Because seats come in buckets, a team of 6 pays for 10 seats: $2,040 on Standard, the same as a team of 10.
| Team | Seats billed | Standard, yearly | Pro, yearly | Standard, monthly billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 people | 3 | $612 | $1,008 | $900 |
| 4 people | 5 | $1,020 | $1,680 | $1,500 |
| 6 people | 10 | $2,040 | $3,360 | $3,000 |
| 11 people | 15 | $3,060 | $5,040 | $4,500 |
The bucket effect is clearest at 6 people. Six seats on Standard would cost $1,224 a year; the 10-seat bucket costs $2,040, or about $28 per person per month instead of $17. If your team is just past a bucket boundary, either plan to grow into the spare seats or compare a CRM that charges per user or per workspace.
Which monday CRM plan should you choose?
Choose Standard if you need automations; choose Pro if you will send mass emails or email sequences from the CRM; Basic suits only very small teams with fewer than 1,000 contacts and deals.
- Basic ($12): tracking leads and deals with no automation and one dashboard.
- Standard ($17): small sales teams that want automations, the communications hub and mobile apps.
- Pro ($28): teams that email prospects in bulk or in sequences, or need more than 10,000 contacts and deals.
- Ultimate: organisations that need advanced permissions, HIPAA compliance and priority support.
How does monday CRM compare on price?
Per seat, monday CRM Standard ($17) costs less than Pipedrive Growth ($39 a seat billed annually), and it usually stays cheaper even though Pipedrive sells single seats and monday sells buckets. For a team of 6, Pipedrive Growth costs $2,808 a year against $2,040 for monday Standard's 10-seat bucket. Plan detail is in Pipedrive pricing explained and HubSpot pricing explained, and the wider picture in how much a CRM costs.
Scalry, which publishes this guide, avoids seat maths altogether: it is priced per workspace at $29, $79 or $199 a month, with a 14-day trial and no card, and includes cold email sequences, funnels and AI agents alongside the CRM.
Questions to ask before you commit
Whichever way you are leaning, these are the questions that change the answer. Work through them against your own numbers rather than anyone's feature matrix — including this one.
- How many people need a seat, now and in a year? That decides your bucket.
- Will you invite guests? On Standard every 4 count as a seat.
- Do you need email sequences? They start on Pro.
- How many contacts and deals? Basic stops at 1,000 and Standard at 10,000.
- What is the yearly total at checkout? The page quotes both 33% and 18% savings.
If you cannot answer the first three, you are not ready to choose between Scalry and monday.com yet — you are still deciding what you need, which is a cheaper problem to solve first.
